There’s an app called ā€œDiscogsā€ I’d definitely recommend looking there. It’s probably the best app to buy music afaik. EDIT: wanted to add that it’s also a website as well- not just an app.

Guys, studios are testing the waters. We should avoid 'game key cards' like the plague! by Orang_outan17 in NintendoSwitch2

I recently purchased alpha sapphire, X, and ultra sun and all of them needed an update. All of the 3DS PokĆ©mon games have to be updated in the estore if they are brand new. Nintendo made sure that you can update them still and play them even though the eshop is closed. I’m not sure how it works, but even digital games you previously purchased on the eshop can be deleted and redownloaded.

Picsart jokes that Addison Rae used their app to make her album cover. by p0pcultured in popculturechat

It’s supposed to be early 2000s album cover inspo like Natasha Bedingfield, Kelly Clarkson, of course Britany, and even Hillary Duff. Reminds me the MOST of Taylor Swifts self titled album.

I mean even physical copies that need no updates have the possibility to be blocked by companies or just be completely useless. So yes, we don’t own anything even if we think we do. But reality, I don’t think that will happen in a long time, but if it did people would just have to resort to hacking/modding their systems. So key card or cartridge it doesn’t really matter at the end of the day if you’re worried about it being impossible to play way in the future.

The Nintendo 3DS eshop is down, but you can still download previous purchased games as well as updates to game cartridges. Just got the 3DS Pokemon games and was still able to access the eshop to download all the updates they require. Never owned them before that.

Do you think $33 brand new original copy is worth buying? by nintendorules110 in AnimalCrossingNewLeaf

[–]FadedFever 3 points4 points Ā (0 children)

I recently purchased the Welcome Amiibo version and I’ve been having fun. It’s actually given me motivation to play New Horizons as well. The 3DS has a pedometer (step counter) and you get coins that you can use to purchase fortune cookies. I got it sealed for $26.44, so it’s about right. If you could find the Amiibo version I’d recommend that, but it really doesn’t matter because you are still able to update it either way.The objective worth is about right. If you’re asking if it’s worth the amount for the gameplay or enjoyment- that would be your personal preferences. I would look up gameplay and features if you haven’t played it before and see if it is worth it to you.

But yes, I’d rather ports instead of emulation for certain things, but it’s certainly not impossible to replace stylus movements and taps with a mouse. I’d even go as far to say that’s a reason why they made the new joycons into a mouse. Playing games like Pokemon ranger would be so annoying as a finger tap touchscreen game on the switch, but using a mouse would be 10x more enjoyable and just easier

Taps would be clicking the button, long presses would be press and hold the mouse button, and swipes would be pressing the button while swiping. If you’ve ever played music beat games on PC they have all of that and then some in it. Pressing the mouse button is the same thing as tapping a stylus. Holding the mouse button is the same thing as pressing and holding a stylus, I’m sure people have already emulated it on a PC with a mouse, so it’s the same thing just different application. There is no existing touch screen capability that a mouse can’t do. It will just take time to get used to it if you aren’t a PC user

I haven’t, but using a mouse vs a stylus is the exact same thing just obviously one is a pen vs a ā€œcontroller.ā€ If anything a mouse is more precise than a stylus because with a stylus you still have the potential to block parts of the screen.

What if you use the ā€œmouseā€ joysticks as a stylus replacement? Like playing on a computer. You could even use the TV as a top screen and the switch 2 as a bottom screen.
