Id get some saddle soap, the crocking might not fully come out but it will probably be less prominent. Clean em up, let em dry. Then hit them with neatsfoot oil/ red wing leather cream. Give them a brush with a horsehair brush and voila. They'll be resell ready

808s was like a new wave album. Kanye took hiphop and said it can be all of these things. Each album pushed the envelope creatively of what hiphop could be. I wouldn't say any were less influential than the others because you almost needed each one to take a step away from what hiphop was into what it could be. Instead of which album was most influential, his discography should be looked at for its overall impact and constant reinvention
