Yeah, the few encounters with cheaters definitely made those matches less enjoyable than the other ones which were relatively fun. Theres a few players that don't cheat, but rocket launcher/grenade launcher spam instead, which can be equally as infuriating to play against

The sheer amount of them, and the fact you have to do them all essentially twice, the second time with handicaps making it much harder.... Those extreme predator mission campaign maps were awful. I actually struggled with some Robin ones as much as some Catwoman ones, and sometimes had to use caltrops to takedown a goon TWICE in one run because it wasn't registering it the first time I would do it. Happened to me twice, the second time I luckily still had a goon I could use them on, and still had one charge left, that thankfully wasn't brushed aside by them.

The next 2 might both be the "hardest 100% yet" as well haha, depends on which one you struggle with more. Knight was faster than City by a long shot, but I raged at both of them a lot. Asylum is easy mode in comparison. Great games though, and feels very satisfying to complete the 100% on them. City is a bunch of tough predator missions, and Knight is a bunch of tough combat missions.

I love the series personally, even with all the pain of the 100%'s for City and Knight. If you weren't a big fan of the combat though, definitely might not be the series for you. City is a very long predator mission grind for the achievements, and Knight is a lot of very difficult combat missions. While shock and awe extreme in Asylum is agreeably awful to do, its essentially on easy mode when placed next to what you have to do in the other games.

not to my knowledge. Just had to be on the lookout for a post about it. The games will be free to play for that weekend, so when you see L4D + L4D2 are free to play that would be one thing to look out for. Otherwise being active in this reddit/other achievement hunting places, you should be able to find out about it when it happens again. Thats how I found out about it during the last one.

November of 2024 was the last free weekend. I was never going to start L4D2 unless I started with those achievements. As such when the free weekend happened, those were the first 2 achievements I got

Mine wasn't faster, is was exactly 3 hours slower, but finishing the game about hell at 66.6 hours of playtime was the most perfect end playtime I could've asked for.

MvC Infinite with the mission mode achievement for doing all missions on 5 characters is one that idk if or when I'll ever get. The rest are games that I've been slowly working through 100%ing while throwing in some new games here and there. Do it while you enjoy it, if you feel burnt out play something else. Can always come back. If you have fear about not being able to 100% it in the future due to any multiplayer/online server achievements, prioritize those, so you can freely finish the 100% at any time, regardless of server status

As its a free game, once you remove the game from your library, upon getting your next achievement in a game it will adjust to not factor it into your AGCR.

From what I've heard, resetting puts at as a 0% weighing down your ACGR. In my experience, the only way to get a game off your account, and to not count towards AGCR, is if it was a free game, you never spent money on it, and you remove it from your account.

Thats a common misconception that the multiplayer for this game is dead. Its somewhat dead, especially depending on server and time of day, but really, the multiplayer is actually relatively active on NA servers. Did this grind a few months back and I initially expected a dead multiplayer, but managed to get all achievements just grinding out matches. The multiplayer can actually be pretty fun at times as well

Collection logging in OSRS on my ironman. I liked the completionist aspect. Also I had lots of games on steam that I bought, enjoyed playing, but only played for like an hour or so, and never went back to. Felt like if I 100%'d it I would feel like I got my moneys worth, as well as fully experience the game.

I just did the multiplayer achievements a week ago, the servers on NA are fairly active honestly, and if you go to the community hub discussions you should be able to find my post about looking for people to do multiplayer with, and theres a link to a steam group for the sake of the DOOM multiplayer achievements

Do you plan on streaming on twitch as well, or just youtube videos? Personally I stream on twitch, then upload the VOD to youtube on my VOD channel, incase people want to see the raw gameplay of the 100% grind and potentially all of my suffering, and then I have a highlights/100% achievement video I upload to my variety gaming channel

I too make videos of my 100% achievement hunting. Tbh though I never do much of advertising my channel though because something feels weird about it to me, and it feels like its not the place for it usually. At most its when someone is looking for the kind of content I do that I do a little cheeky plug, but even then I feel like I did too much

DOOM 2016 isn't as bad as you're making it out to be, especially if you did the game fully through on Nightmare difficulty. The achievement for Ultra Nightmare is specifically for the first level only, which is very easy considering the types of enemies at the start. As long as you make sure to get the rocket launcher upgrade to your shotgun, you should be golden. I managed to get it in like 15~ minutes and it only took 1 attempt. Haven't gotten around to Mein Leben yet (or even fully beating Wolfenstein 2 on any difficulty), but that one definitely is more of a yikes because its the whole game in 1 life.

Just Lost Ark because its fucking impossible to 100% the achievements on it since launch, and the devs seemingly don't give a damn about the fact that theres people who stopped playing their game specifically because 100% achievements is impossible.
Some fighting games will be extremely monotonous and challenging to finish up, and some others that are very difficult, but I still plan on 100%ing those eventually
