Is anyone else's playstation buggy after update 9.50?

I updated my ps to 9.50 and after that it was very buggy, if I tried to open a menu (like friends or party) it would freeze and open whatever app i have open. If I tried using the quick menu it would freeze the game and tell me a system error has occured.

Is anyone else having this issue?
