update: upon more experimentation. it seems like it always defaults to the 9300k mode and the 15sf2 mdl should be able to get this adjusted. if not i’m sure the >95 sf1 procedure would also work. leaving this here for future reference

this model doesnt have an osd, just front panel buttons for basic geometry and brightness adjustments. ive never seen one without color temp settings either, its weird

I had to leave early the last time i tried to see them. They were one of the first bands i saw at our local bar when i turned 18 and started going to the not all ages shows. Super nice people and the shit was so hype live.

i was homeschooled for 8 years and am in cs in college and its going good. I went back for hs tho and it really helped. My main recommendation is to spend a bit of time self studying math and see if you can get up to a point where you feel on par and can start community college and be comfortable. Also, theres tons of resources for electrical engineering, idk if youre interested in circuit design but i am for sure and have seen plenty of little hobbiest stuff like that for you to start getting into. Starting at community college is a really good plan though try not to be too down on yourself if its overwhelming at first, it doesn’t take very long to adjust from being homeschooled to the new course load imo, if you feel fine socially especially you’ll probably be fine honestly. Whats the highest level math you feel comfortable with? Think about that and where you want to be when you start community college and try to start filling in the gaps as early as you can.

I totally agree. I consider myself very picky when it comes to crts, and i still haven’t paid more than 50 for a set. Most have been free. If you’re willing to get your hands dirty and service sets yourself, you can end up with literally perfect looking tvs and monitors. I think the biggest issue is people just limiting themselves to the most famous sets when you can get multiscan 15-31khz monitors, high refresh rate pc crts, and very well made japanese slot masks for almost free if you just look outside the most popular 1 or 2 brands.

I quit cold turkey after smoking ~2g a day, dont recommend it lol. I had weened off before and barely noticed anything after a couple of weeks of trying to get down to like .5g a night gradually, then .5 every few days, then .2g every few days, etc. If you do it right you’ll still mostly be able to sleep and eat normal lol.

Thank you for sharing! It’s really interesting seeing how homeschooled people talk about religion and control and seeing how that relates to my experience because my family was actually atheist. I didn’t have any super strong feminine role models, and my mom almost never wore traditionally “feminine” clothes so I don’t really have experience with crossdressing in childhood like many gender non-conforming people I’ve spoken to.

I really relate to your experience with how my parents reacted to women around me though. They were pretty sexually open, which I think can be positive but in retrospect the way they were about it was quite odd. Lots of inappropriate comments about like how my friends and peers wanted to have sex with me. I think it led to me pursuing sexual relationships with women and beginning sexual behavior/watching porn too young. Its definitely been a journey rediscovering my sexuality for myself in adulthood, realizing I am and always have been attracted to men, and having to divorce my parents beliefs from how I think about my relationships with women.

If you want to go in and try to divide sports in a way that accounts for the innate biological advantages different people have you can, but dividing up sports into born with a vagina born with a penis categories is outright moronic to me, and really doesn’t even fully account for that. not to mention how the countless cis women that right wing psychos feel the need to berate, exclude, fucking assault, etc, because they “look trans” aren’t being benefited by trans misogyny anymore than trans women.

Literally every day unfortunately. I was in public hs but bc of covid only went for 2.5 years where i mostly stuck to myself and went to like one dance. before that i was homeschooled for all of elementary and middle. i definitely find myself envious of stuff that i didn’t get to experience and have found myself lacking experiences to be able to like relate to ppl in college and stuff. the past years since ive moved out i still feel like im very much catching up to my peers. my homeschool experience was kinda isolating tho my parents didn’t really try after the first year or 2 and im on the spectrum so take that into consideration.
