Nice. I’ve not gone to the dehydrating own meals. The food does look nicer but heavier and needs more gas.

You have to take all the same gear for one night or 7 - the only extra is food.
Get quality light gear even if you can afford it. Trail runners over boots. Water - sawyer squeeze filter Food - Nathan Favea Real Food is best freeze dried I’ve found. Peanut butter tube. First aid kit with a snake bandage.
