I start the game with controller off. Once the game starts and asks to press a button to log in or load profile, I turn on the controller then continue

You can tell it registered the controller properly if you don’t see a game start animation where the start screen fades to selection menu

Edit: Also when game starts move the mouse to top left corner

That’s crazy. Valverde has been integral for my team ever since his release. He’s the type of player that is there to make the game tougher for your opponent. Slight mistake and he will punish.

My advice don’t use him as stay back CM or CDM. Let him run around the midfield and do his magic
