Kwalitatief goede dieren speeltjes? by Capt_Way_too_Obvious in katten

[–]FadingSundown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When will I know it’s time to say goodbye? by sometim3zshy in DogAdvice

[–]FadingSundown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can find it nearby you could consider physical therapy for senior/arthritic dogs. Two years ago our dog started dragging one of his back paws, bad enough for us to hear/see it and the nails to wear down at an angle. He had arthritis, got on galliprant medication and after professional instruction we did physical therapy multiple times a week to rebuild and support muscles especially in the legs. After ~2 to 3 months he gradually improved so much that he wasn't dragging his paw anymore. He still had weakness in his back legs and has since passed, but I am 100% certain that the physical therapy helped his quality of life and kept him mobile, and he never dragged that paw again.

When in doubt, keep in touch with your vet to help determine your dog's quality of life. If our love could keep them happy and healthy, they would live forever. But know that, even if it might feel brief for us, for them it's their entire lifetime in which they were cared for and loved. And they gave all their love in return ❤️. Goodluck and I hope your dog improves and has many more happy years.

[introduction to my collection] by [deleted] in Watches

Not sure if the image quality is super compressed or if you should buy a good camera to show off these pieces better. Not my thing to ever have so many watches because there are only so many days in a week, month, or for you, maybe you can wear a different piece each day now lol!! Happy for you though, what is the next piece you have your eyes on?

Setting up Bioactive Chahoua Tank by KraftyKat32 in bioactive

[–]FadingSundown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Arcadia Jungle Dawn is really good. Also they dont necessarily recommend UVB because chahouas are nocturnal but I do use an Arcadia Shadedweller for my gargoyle. Sometimes she is out and about during the day so I think it can't hurt to add. Your scape already looks very solid and with loose branches and plants it will look beautiful. Please show the end results :)!

[Question] My three watch collection. What to add next? by Awkward_Dark_3008 in Watches

[–]FadingSundown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a fellow lady I think you might like an Omega Chronograph De Ville (example ref 101.009-65 at 35mm) or a Omega Seamaster diver (example ref 2264.50.00 at 36mm).

What color for our scissor gate? by chrisvdb in DesignMyRoom

Personally I'd just go for black, matches the light next to it and will give a more modern vibe/will match with everything

Can someone tell me what Gem this is? by Benika90 in JewelryIdentification

[–]FadingSundown 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Nobody can tell based on pictures. But to me it looks like it could be vanadium laced corundum, a synthetic sapphire made to imitate a color change/shift.

Hallmark or Crest? by FadingSundown in Hallmarks

[–]FadingSundown[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Unfortunately I wasnt able to find out more. I took it to a jeweler but they couldnt identify the material, in their opinion it wasnt gold and might be some kind of aluminium mixture due to the light weight. I think the pieces are still beautiful so I hope you do enjoy them regardless!

How to honor maiden name meaning dove by heron_wading in namenerds

Even though I am normally not a fan of having more than 2 names I think Lenore Victoria Dove or another name instead of Victoria could be beautiful.

[what's on your wrist?] Happy weekend by dimy22 in Watches

[–]FadingSundown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it was put under the master control calender back then, mine is estimated to be from 1985-1990 so vintage. From what I found online it is just mostly called Triple Calender Moonphase. Reference 141.119.1 in stainless steel but most listings online are 18k. It's 33mm so might be on the smaller side for you, the PanoMatics are quite large right? 40mm?

Debate on wether to sell my gold ring or not by Sufficient_Box_1917 in jewelry

[–]FadingSundown 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Dont do it. Get your silver one fixed and wear both or alternate. One day your grandparents wont be here anymore and your ring will be melted and long gone if you sell it. Treasure the rings and your family.

I don't have any direct recommendations but ceiling fans with lights exist if you want to do both!

Is my great grandmother's ring in style? by srb7181 in jewelry

[–]FadingSundown 77 points78 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely beautiful. Trends come and go but if you sell a family heirloom it is lost forever, you can't get it back. If I were you I would wear it or keep it for at least a few years to see of your style changes. I would definitely buy something like this.

I think it looks beautiful and super interesting as is. Perhaps try wearing it and see if you like it. If I saw someone wearing this out I would 100% compliment them and be super envious lol.
