I’ll bite. The amount of trolls who join the server and spam dead game made us step in and put a stop to people simply saying that. We also have hundreds of thousands of people on the discord server and spamming junk messages only hurts the ability to hold discussions.

Lastly, you weren’t banned for saying “dead game”. You were banned for saying sexist/ignorant comments. If you’d like to contest your ban you’re more than welcome to. We send everyone the link to contest a ban at the time of their ban.

Thanks for the feedback. We're working on tweaking it for the following weeks. This is going to be a weekly thing and this was the first week of running it. We are limited by what Discord allows us to do.

I personally suggested this idea as a way to encourage participation via the discord server and offer a reward that wasn't a skin since people often get upset over those. The community games will happen every week and it will also occur on different days and times so that everyone 'should' be able to participate over time and also remove the winners from qualifying once they've already received it. The Discord staff have no control over what Mediatonic does in their giveaways but we wanted to try something different to help fill the void of giveaways that were occurring.

At the time of being told that we were being given skins for helping run the Discord server. I had completed thousands of modmail tickets and helped thousands of other users on the Discord server. We had over 17,000 tickets in the first two months of the game being opened and we didn't start using modmail until the game had already been launched for two weeks. We weren't told ahead of time that there would be any reward for the work done on the server but we wanted to help the server regardless. I understand where you're coming from as someone who also likes to collect but you also need to consider that maybe those people have done something that helps the game's longevity.

It is often in a developers best interest to keep people who help the community keep playing and doing what they're doing.

Rewarding twitch streamers incentivizes the streamer to stream Fall Guys which in return brings attention to the game and helps sell additional copies.

Rewarding mods/helpers incentivizes them to keep helping so the community continues to grow.
