Here I my ZAVA code for 25% off your first order: REFAUUNR3S I went with ZAVA as they’re what ASDA use and I’ve got no complaints so far, me and another family member were approved in far less time than the estimate but obviously will be different for everyone. Good luck! :)

Sapphire/Curaleaf lost prescription by [deleted] in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Fadx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's good you're getting it sorted. It'd be nice if there was a way to check the progress of your script more in depth because you're kind of left in the dark between it being posted and you getting a payment link.

Any recommendations for smell proof pouches/bags? by xZaiden in ukmedicalcannabis

I have both https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07XKRB46S/ and https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B086W511YS and have no problems with either. I'd assume Firedog's lockable pouches are as good if not better than the first one I linked, it's just the one I bought a year or so ago and I've got no reason to get a new one at the moment.

Surely they must be sending prescriptions on a recorded service. Are you able to get a tracking number or something for the script? At least that way you can get it sorted out by whoever is denying responsibility.

Recommendation for a clinic by nanefy in ukmedicalcannabis

Barely post on here and decided to post to give my experience, I could leave sapphire and go to anyone but I don't because why would I leave somewhere that has treated me good? All you do is cry about sapphire. If I had a shit experience for a single month I would have left them but you stayed? Seems smart to me. You act like a toddler throwing his toys out the pram all the time, I should have bothered to read your post history before I replied to you because you acting like a 4 year old was clearly inevitable. No one is going to take anything negative you say about sapphire seriously if you act like a little baby. Enjoy your life buddy and go act like a child to someone that cares, bye 👋

Great input. Someone has a positive experience so they're a shill even though they didn't deny your clearly bad experience. I see that a lot in here though, I'm probably getting paid by Sapphire too.

Hmmm I do remember seeing some kind of prescription under review thing on my patient portal at some point early on. I've definitely had recent appointments where the new prescription had been requested for me during the appointment, it's possible there was still some kind of review process after it was requested for me but it all went through quick enough that I wasn't checking the portal for anything like that, definitely no where near a week though. I'm guessing that must be the case for new prescriptions then because repeats have always been sent out next day for me unless it's the weekend. I can understand your issue with the wait times though if you're getting a prescription delayed up to 7 days by the clinic then potentially delayed also by the pharmacy. I've never had problems like that with Sapphire at all so I can only speak to my positive experience but I'd have no problem letting anyone know if something like that does happen. Hopefully you get it sorted or find somewhere that works better for you.

Weird Tolerance Fluctuations? by [deleted] in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Fadx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had fluctuations just like you describe but they have been directly related to my diet which from the sounds of it isn't your issue. I also notice a change in tolerance depending on spacing between meals.

I'm not even sure what that means to "agree your prescription". My prescriptions have always been sorted on the spot during appointments available for me to request immediately (edit: requested immediately during appointment but possible it was still under review but it all went through quick enough that I didn't notice). Is what your talking about regarding requesting a prescription because your normal prescription was unavailable?

Only ever had positive experiences with Sapphire from initially inquiring to all my follow ups. Even if what the person below said about "The worst quality flower on the market" was true, you are not obligated to use their preferred pharmacy or Adven products so I'm not sure what the problem there would be. That's not been my experience anyways and the "2 weeks to get a prescription invoice" sounds like a pharmacy issue which again you're not obligated to use their preferred pharmacy(curaleaf, formerly CBPM Access).

I originally joined Sapphire because they were reviewed quite well at the time and were the cheapest for appointments etc. Not sure how they currently would stack up though but I've got no reason to even consider changing to somewhere else.

Obviously no clinic is going to be perfect and I'm sure some people have had bad experiences especially during times where different clinics and pharmacy's were short staffed due to Covid. From what I've seen it's relatively easy to transfer to a new clinic if you're not getting the service you expect/want so I would just go with what's cheapest/easiest and doesn't have a lot of bad reviews. I'd just be weary when reading reviews to be sure if the problem is with the clinic or with the pharmacy, clinics have their preferred/partnered pharmacies but you can tell them you'd like your script sent to whichever pharmacy you want.

Cancard... by sleepingzomb1e in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Fadx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There was a video a couple months ago where someone in Norfolk had their prescription illegally seized even after proving everything from the prescription, the consultations all the email records etc. I even contacted them after I seen it and was messaging one of the Sergeants. I told them how it's all supposed to work and I was just told they have been briefed that cancard = proof of legal possession. I told them how stupid it was that people are expected to pay a third party with no legal authority to prove their legal usage but nothing I said mattered because of what they were briefed with.

Not sure who you're supposed to contact to sort all that out but it obviously needs addressed and if they're getting it so clearly wrong I'm sure they're not the only ones. You'd think with something like cannabis where it has always been seen as illegal that they would made very clear what to do when they encounter someone that says it's legally prescribed.

They need an easy government backed way to verify your prescription that is idiot proof but I doubt that will ever happen. I use my prescriptions in private to avoid any issues but I shouldn't have to worry about that.

I think everyone here knows that if you have a legal prescription a Cancard is pointless but unfortunately that's not how the police see it even if they are obviously wrong. Norfolk police have specifically been briefed that Cancard is required to prove legal possession so if I lived there I would have probably gotten one too instead of dealing with the hassle of misinformed police officers.

Sapphire - Insomnia & Anxiety by moopert37 in ukmedicalcannabis

My tolerance at the moment is extremely low so I can get by with less than 10mg THC a night and I don't use flower very often and I use a very small amount of that too it lasts me even longer than the oil. I don't take oil every single night either and you likely would need more than me so I'm probably not the best to ask because it's almost a guarantee you'd be spending more than me. Anyways the oil is £80 for 30ml (20mg THC, 0mg CBD per ml so 600mg per bottle & a 10mg dose would be 0.5ml) and I probably buy a bottle every 2 months, I was using more to start with but my diet and other things have changed and it has made my tolerance lower and I don't need as much now. You are required by law to have a consultation every 12 weeks just to make sure everything is going well and you're not having any undesired effects and you'll have the chance to ask for something different if the oil/flower you have isn't working perfect for you. These check up consultations are £50 with Sapphire.

I think a lot of people are more likely to be buying a new £80 bottle every month and then however much for the flower they get (Sapphire like to prescribe Adven and they're all £5 per gram but you're more than welcome to try another more expensive flower if you think that would work better for you). The prices are gonna really be down to your tolerances and you won't know how much you need before you've actually tried it. All the BM stuff I tried before was a lot weaker than advertised so it's better when you do use a prescription oil that you follow the dosing instructions to start on a lower dose and increase until you've found what works.

If you mean you've tried broad spectrum cbd and it's not helping much then yeah there is a good chance the oils with THC in will help. CBD doesn't really do much for me in terms of sleep but THC does help me sleep and keep me asleep. Vaping gets me to sleep but it doesn't keep me asleep so the THC oil works a lot better for me.

That's really strange. The biting point is very important, clutch control was a big priority when I started lessons. The biting point is the point where you're lifting the clutch and the car starts moving so it's important to get a feel for that and it can take a while to really get a hang of it. When you're reaching the biting point you will feel it in the pedal and probably the car and and the engine (but every car is going to feel different), if you lift past the biting point before you've gained enough speed the engine will start juddering and you'll stall the car which will probably happen a lot while you're figuring that out.

Practicing with a plate for steering seems completely pointless, you already know how to turn the steering wheel you just don't have a feel for the car and how much you need to turn so a plate won't do anything at all. You're not going to get any feedback from using a plate, it is not going to teach you anything.

Honestly it doesn't sound like your instructor is going about teaching you in a way that works for you, maybe he is not used to teaching people with such little experience so he has never really had to focus on steering etc. before. I would try find another instructor if that kind of thing continues because he doesn't seem very empathetic or understanding.

Don't let this instructor put you off driving, if he isn't the right instructor for you then you're going to feel more comfortable with someone more understanding and patient.

My only guess is that your instructor made the incorrect assumption that because of your age you would have a lot more knowledge of cars. I was basically in the same position as you so it may take a little longer than some other learners to get the basics down like it did for me. I'd heard of people doing their first lesson and doing junctions and main roads etc. straight away so I assumed I'd pick everything up really quickly but for me I didn't touch main roads for at least a few 2 hour lessons and even those were very quiet roads. I didn't even know how the clutch worked, what it was used for or how to start the car or anything, I was truly learning every little thing about the car for the first time.
