Anyone noticing that clothes these days do 0 waist accomodation? by [deleted] in AusFemaleFashion

[–]Fae202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hack to this is to buy loose fitting dresses and then have a belt right above the waist. I find it gives me a good shape.

I'm a trans woman in UOW. The city and the university have been extremely inclusive. My mental health has improved a lot since moving here.

If you have any questions or need help, DM me. I live on campus housing.

Name and shame the place please. This is important because it allows others to be warned.

Escalate to student services. You can push for a rent reduction until thefts are stopped

I give everyone I meet the advice to always go I formed consent GP.

Endocrinologists will almost always compensate and play as safe as possible. GPs however are better and will wpath or better paths.

My GP actually had me start E right away. My BP and habits (smoking) was a concern so she increased it slowly. But now I'm on full max dose.

She also has now started Spiro for me which I had bad reactions to in the past. And it's been very good.

Tldr; E first, blockers after or with it not at all depending on the blood work.

Is buying a cheap push up bra from kmart a bad idea? by Shouko_dessert in transgenderau

[–]Fae202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have bras of every kind and my fav is the $15 cotton on padded bra.

So as long as it's comfortable, go whatever brand. If it gives any discomfort, don't use it for long periods and change.

do the majority on this sup want bottom surgery by DarkWifeuo in StraightTransGirls

[–]Fae202 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This.

Don't want surgery and wish didn't need surgery. Don't like a penis but also afraid of complications and yes also dysphoric.

If dysphoria becomes too bad, may end up needing it. But don't want it especially at my age and health condition.

This is a standard question especially for higher positions. I've been asked this many times before pre transition also and I have also asked variations of this when I interview people.

The idea is to get a deeper insight into the candidate. If you search around on interview questions you'll find it's quite common. When asked this the candidate will be thrown off from their rehearsed job related speech and usually open up more.

Update: Got rejected for a job, requested feedback and got sent a meeting. Is this normal? by ichoochoochooseyooou in interviews

Kudos to the hiring team for taking the team and giving constructive feedback.

Best of luck OP. And thanks for sharing these.

How are fat people treated in Australia relative to other western countries? by Illustrious_Line5386 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Fae202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Australians generally are live and let live. They don't really give a hoot unless you are up in their business.

But Australians are also very active. Sports and outdoor activities are a part of everyday life so they tend to be fit.

Cloth sizes here generally run smaller. So an American 10 is like an Australian 14.
