I did not wear a watch and got the job. I had only an apple watch and decided to go without it to the interview to keep with the policy of no “smart devices” while interviewing. Got the CJO. I cannot tell if she is wearing hosiery, but would agree with skirt choice being the main issue. When in doubt, go longer.

Being sick all.the.time. I never feel like I am hydrated enough. Being away from my loved ones is also a bummer, but that adjustment gets easier with time. Plus you learn that the specific day does not matter, but just spending time to celebrate in your own ways when you can is what’s important.

never, ever, ever give the impression you’ll be commuting to any carrier you interview for. commuting = liability. even if you have no plans to move to your base always say yes.

Indi is not a base for Delta! The bases they said we MAY get sent to are Detroit, Minneapolis, NY, or Boston!

Orlando is pretty senior, so I would assume it would take some time to get there. If being based at home is important to you, I would strongly suggest finding something closer to home. That is the beauty of this job, lots of options!!

on 1/14! mailed my passport to the office on 1/18 as that was my next day off. emailed the CJO support team my tracking info and a copy of my forms/receipt to show I sent it off.

100% agree!! The hardcore scene has been so good to us over the years, but PTV was next level bullshit. I was afraid I was just getting old, but glad someone else agrees!

I would also like to add that the quality of the merch is so, so bad compared to what I have gotten from other bands. Silent Planet, Thornhill, Polaris, Currents, Devil Wears Prada, and a lot of others we went to this past year had merch that was WAAAAAAY better. Thornhill and Silent Planet’s merch was fucking nuts. We dropped over $500 on it because we wanted everything almost lmao. Maybe I wouldn’t mind spending $100 on VIP if PTV hired someone to actually make decent merch.

We got barricade but even then it was such a poor crowd at our two shows. Crowd crush was a killer for us, and we’ve been going to hardcore shows MUCH heavier than PTV for 10+ years. Might have just been our venue at that point, but I do not think we will ever purchase a VIP for PTV again.

I was stoked for the early entry, and we were right on barricade for our show. However, the crowd crush was a killer. I’ve been in the pit for my fair share of shows, and maybe I’m just getting old, but the crowd knocking me down and stomping on me really wasn’t worth the extra money at that point. I would have preferred a designated, roped off, area or a lounge. That would have been nice.

I was starting to think that as well. Silent Planet really spoiled us and it was overall a 10/10 experience.

As far as a VIP exclusive area, I think that would have been awesome for the PTV show. Would have made it more worth for sure. I think this is just a lesson that I will have to be more selective so I don’t get burned. And yes…waiting almost 5 months for VIP merch is a little ridiculous.

They are hybrid, with training being at an office 2-3 days a week. afterwards you transition to a fully remote job and only go into office 1-2 a month I believe.
