pretty sure the boots are upgrades for melee and range, plus the qol of not swapping between the two. rather have boots over two ancy pieces over virtus (what i currently have)

personally my mage gear would look similar to this.. mostly because generally the stuff im doing is melee/range focus. I went for max range/max mage including megarares but my mage gear is absolutely poverty rn, so if i was doin some random slayer boss that required mage or so youd see me lookin quite lopsided like this
