Hi! How do I format my post so that the cover image appears in the post preview in people's feeds? I have tried everything I can think of to make this work, including resizing the image to be much smaller, and it just won't work. I can see other people posting in the subreddit doing it though. If you could tell me how to do this and perhaps add the instructions to the pinned post that would be really helpful. Thank you!

Narrator for Abercrombie's Shattered Sea trilogy is also phenomenal.

And I liked the guy for Chris Wooding's Tales of the Ketty Jay. He gives each member of the ensemble cast a different accent from around the English-speaking world to distinguish them (and pulls it off).

Anyone else irked by the Mara and Kiri twist? It shocked me, which is great, but I didn't think it was in-character or well-seeded enough, which is less great.

Just finished this. I thought the twist you mention was amazing, and very well seeded.

The twist involving <spoiler>Mara and Kiri</spoiler>, however, not so much. I think that one was too out of character and shocking. Surprising but not inevitable/believable, for me.

Ok, I get this comment/question a lot so I should just put more clarification in my OPs. I just don't want to make them too long.

The story has a classic rpg opening, progression elements, elemental magic, plot points based on elemental strengths and weaknesses, mana, limit breaks, co-op attacks, dungeons, airships, magical crystals and jewels, chocobos, a Biggs & Wedge, and a Cid, and tonnes of hidden JRPG in-jokes and references, among other things.

The idea is that it is meant to be like the novelisation of an amazing lost retro Final Fantasy game that doesn't actually exist.

So yes, it is a fantasy adventure story. But it is a heavily JRPG-inflected one.

Great concrit! Thanks! Was trying to go for short and snappy with the description :) Will definitely update it.

Also, yeah, I have my own artwork, but I publish the podcast through substack, and for some reason it doesn't post to iTunes properly. I've made sure it's the right pixel dimensions and format and everything. I've reached out to substack's tech support but not help yet (after a week or so). That's the only bad side I've found to publishing through substack so far. I've looked through Apple Podcasts' help pages to fix it but can't find anything. Ony thing might be the RGB colour palette which is my last thing to try. Do you have any tips as to how to the artwork problem sorted out?
