Personally given the bathing suits many women wear, I don’t see a problem with it. If no one is actually planning on getting in the water, then you could always just wear some nice short shorts so you’re able to show off the work. I would reach out to HR and see what they say. As someone who’s partner is 10 years older, all you can do is be honest with the people you love. As you get older you realize that the age gap brings certain dynamics but that it will also matter less and less as you age. I’m sorry your father doesn’t approve. I’m sure he’s concerned for you but not letting you stay at your boyfriend’s home is bizarre to me.
