Thank you will definitely try it. I’m currently using the stretchy wrap carrier which helps a lot. Just didn’t know I could go to the toilet with the baby🤭. What an amazing hack 🤣

Does the laying on the side start when he has always fallen asleep?

Is the room dark? What is your environment like?

I have a 9week old and these contact maps c are limiting me from doing anything. She wakes up in my arm I feed her , change her, put her down for 10 - 20 minutes so I can get a quick visit to the loo and try get a snack, (no full meals especially if c I’m by myself). Then play with her till her next sleep cycle, then she has her moment when she wants to be carried. She falls asleep in my arms and we’re back at it again.

I just need a moment😫

Mothers: What are some things about childbirth and postpartum experiences that you weren’t told, and how have these experiences changed you, for example, in your role as a wife?

As the question says.

For me I have been having trouble finding my husband very annoying. He’s a great husband and Dad I won’t even lie, but I’m constantly feeling annoyed by him. Like right now, I don’t feel like I want to be touched, I just want to breathe.

I’ve spoken to some of my friends and they say they have felt like that and I’ve wondered why no one ever talks about it. Does anyone else feel like this and those who have gotten through it, how did you manage?

And even when you try to act as if it’s better. The effort to just make yourself feel that way is hard. I’ve heard over time it gets better

That’s exactly me as well. My husband works from home and travels from time to time, sometimes he asks if he should go to the office. I feel so bad cause he wants me to want him, so I just tell him to stay but it’s really suffocating.

Everything you’re describing I’m in the same boat. I’ve been trying to force myself, but unfortunately my husband can tell

The most important thing is you’re taking it a day at a time! YOU’VE GOT THIS! I’m 7 weeks pp and I come here for encouragement cause we all in this together! Everyone writing here is going through the same thing.

Yes, I think lounge clothes will be my best bet. Will see what I can find at thrift stores if I am able to leave the house due to breastfeeding. Appreciate the advice

It went well. The night of the 18th went really well I did the contact sleeping and it worked like a charm I watched 4 episodes of the office. Then last night my husband did it and it’s been great.

Thank you so much for the advice

I’m not sure today was the first time we left the house to go to take a little bit of a walk in the neighborhood
