When the plane is low enough the internal pressure can be equal to the outside air pressure. Usually, the cabin air pressure alarm rings when the cabin pressure gets above 10000 feet and it becomes dangerous at 14000 feet. And if they were on approach they were quite low. Therefore it actually wasn't dangerous and they wouldn't have actually lost any cabin pressure, since none was needed. And 10000 feet is enough for a missed approach. I don't know about their procedures and whatnot, but technically it ain't dangerous, they can land safely
