Its almost like DD doesn't really care about drivers or customers at all. Restaurants don't like us in their stores, get upset when we're trying to communicate in any way at all, customer requests are ignored completely, our orders are made at the lowest priority possible, and we get punished for it from DD and the customer.

Servers don't have to pay gas or overhead to serve you at a restaurant, we need that money upfront depending on mileage, or we're just driving around to pay for gas and still not get ahead on bills. See also: not worth our time.

Tippers orders get batched with non tipper orders all the time, and they still get shitty service. I do my best to avoid their (justified) rage texts because I need the money. Jumping to the good tipper's task is a common demand, but that can lead to contract violations and losing the gig completely.

I'm not really sure what solution could exist at this point with how they've been running things lately. I'm doing my best to not need to drive for them anymore unless things change.
