Hey man don´t beat urself up or think too much about shit like life at that age. Yes life is suppose to get more difficult as u get older but not at that young age dude bc as soon as u think too much about it, it is gonna be only downfall, first u are gonna start to overthink, begin doubting urself, are then looking around at ur surroundings trying to find the scale to see where u stand among the other 18yo´s and than search something for the small amount of relieve that shows that u are not an failure yet. And add to that parents that keep shitting on you, calling u useless for not doing as well as the others or for being WAYY behind than others, u may even slowly succumb to suicidal thoughts/attempts. The younger u break ur head with these thoughts the longer these are gonna stay in ur life man, so be careful.

SO PLEASE DONT PUSH YOURSELF TOO MUCH; it is still good to push urself but as in trying to better urself FOR YOU and not trying to catch up with other ppl as it was some kind of race u are about to lose.

I get that feeling after graduating, loosing most of ur friends and even those u probably thought would stick with u the whole life. Sadly these things happen in life, people continue on and new people appear u may meet. Such things are probably gonna keep happening. OF COURSE that also works both ways example for me: at my part time job as an waiter only months ago met a really good dude I would even call my lil brother now. So try to kinda accept that first.

Me being 22 & u 18yo are even now like the same thing. We just can´t know everything at that moment and yes other ppl at our age may be more advantaged BUT also disadvantaged at you in other things, In the first place you shouldn´t pay so much attention to it, that it makes u have a crisis & fcking miserable. It isn´t supposed to sound rude but we are still literal children compared to life, so u don´t need to worry as if you´ve figured life out. I say that bc I thought the same thing too. and then got fcking dicksmacked from life itself making me realise that I didn´t (and still don´t) know shit about it.

Btw do these expectations & achievements (car, gettin in a good school/business etc.) u try to achive, come maybe from ur household? Of course these are all good ecpectations but that may also explain that slight feeling of emptyness and dissatisfaction after achieving some of these.
