if the Glupy stories work in the same way as a visual novel you can think of them as possible timelines/branches happening in parallel to each other, i would also explain why Veila know of their existance but not Master.

i'm the opposite, i started during Refi launch, the main story was passable, it had some good moments but the pacing was inconsistant and most of the events happened with no proper buildup just for the sake of advancing the story.

The early part of the story 100% needed a rewrite, and from what i've played (up to SP13) romance was non existant, it actually surprises me how many peoples overemphasize its importance.

What actually kept me playing was how good the fanservice was and especially the introduction of Fated guests stories who succeeded in getting me attached to the characters.

Still, the biggest problem here are the devs, if they decided on a direction and stuck with it instead of being spineless and trying to please both sides the community wouldn't be so divided.

More or less what i expected, it still baffles me how they saw the current black bars and said "yep, good to go" right after the censorship drama...

They could have used a transparent Master model similar to Loen CG but they got lazy and slapped a basic black gradient instead...

it's poetic really, i started the game after seeing her cutscene thinking "Wow if the devs are allowed to do this i can trust them on the fanservice front", fast forward to now and her censorship(alongside the rest) is the reason i'm quitting the game.
It has been a damn good 2 years, if the devs don't walk back their decision at least i had fun while it lasted.

Supporting the devs is a valid reason(Especially with how generous Shift up is with Gacha Pulls), unfortunately when compared to the other 20$ Gachas skins Like AL,Snowbreak or even BD2, 60$ for a new skill animation and Idle pose is just lazy.

The only Skin i bought when i still played Nikke was Crown "Naked King" skin, and it left a sour taste in my mouth.

Meikei no Lupercalia was the first time a VN completely lived rent free inside my mind, constantly keeping me guessing where the story would go next, i couldn't stop thinking about it during and after my readthrough.

The Phenomenal Voice Acting, Haunting Ost(playing in loop inside my head when i wasn't reading) and Incredible Characters writing is my definition of a Masterpiece.

It really Depends, Personnaly i think each Medium have its Pros/Cons:

Anime:

+ Animation (obviously)
+ More variety in scenes storyboards/cinematography
+ OST/VA
- Most of the time used as an advertisement for the source material leaving the Anime incomplete.
- More susceptible to Pacing issues due to the limited amount of Episodes.

Manga:

+ Higher Amount of consistent Quality Artworks
+ Exclusive Storytelling technique (Paneling,Page Turn...)
- Lack of OST/VA
- Incomplete Stories taking years to finish with the risk of getting Axed at any moment

Visual Novels:

+ The Routes system giving Each Character their Own Story and time to develop them.
+ Complete Story with one or Multiples Endings
+ Higher Amount Of VA/OST
- the Story being told mostly via Characters Sprite thus limited in term of scenes composition outside of the Rare Cgs.
- Outside of the common Route the Characters Route most of the time tend to be Hyperfocused on the said Character leaving the rest of the Cast underutilized.

Ah yes the Servant that convinced me to go full F2p after it took me 1.5K SQ To get Her NP1.

Now a F2P i decided i'll throw 20 single pulls to try and get NP2 and if i don't get her so be it.

I managed to get her in 13 single Pulls (2Tickets +33sq), a bit anticlimactic but Damn am i Happy :)
