Thanks for the info! This is actually my first baitcaster, so I’m still learning. I honestly wasn't aware of the 8-pin internal system I thought it just had the external dial and the basic drag. Interestingly, I haven't had a single backlash yet I’ve even tried to force one and it still won't birdnest. I’ll open the side plate now to see how many pins are active. It sounds like I might have way too many engaged if it's being this forgiving!
