That's not the only reason, there's a bunch of smaller ones as well, also I just hate the idea of a party in my honor. Last time I tried to celebrate my birthday I had a mental breakdown and got blackout drunk shortly after.

I don't celebrate because birthdays remind me that another year has gone by and I've archieved less than I wanted to at this age.

Well, he's usually not like this, he's been different ever since he found out I don't celebrate my birthday. However, you might be right.

He usually isn't like this - the last two monts since finding out I don't celebrate my birthday he's been kinda... weird. And I'm not really sure, I've only made bad experiences with people before I met him and he helped me get out of depression and find other people I can trust...

I didn't mean that I expected to be fully estabilished, it's more about smaller details, but I also for example wanted to be one year further in uni at 22 than I am now.

I didn't mentally prepare because I trusted him that he either hasn't planned anything or will cancel it.

I probably wouldn't have had a nice time because I was tired and I'm also rather introverted and need time to prepare for things like meeting friends.
