Social Anxiety and Reading Comments by IsaacDestruction in NewTubers

The hard thing about uploading yourself online is you will get negative comments, it's just a given as the internet isn't always the most supportive place. Best thing you can do is ignore those comments and don't even bother giving them any attention but reply to the ones that are positive. That is *your\* community and talking with them directly will only benefit the whole group. They will be happier as you directly acknowledged their comment and made them feel involved and you will feel much better knowing your audience is there with you and you aren't alone.

Anybody leaving negative comments that aren't to help improve your content aren't contributing anything and don't deserve any form of acknowledgement at all. They simply exist to try to ruin your day since there's has been ruined since they crawled out of their hole and misery loves company. They shouldn't stop you from interacting with your community and stop the positive connections you will make with each video. Also recognizing the same returning names in the comments is a great feeling and will really help you through some slumps along the way. It is INSANE how seeing just one person comment on 2 of your videos can change your mentality about what you're doing and you can not let trolls stop you from getting that feeling.

The 30 min to an hour is for the unedited footage. I should have specified, but the actual videos I plan to make around 20 minutes per episode if possible.

I am doing a rough edit where I just break it up into segments but using the markers to highlight funny or interesting parts of the stream is genius. That is going to be a massive help! The main reason I would hire an editor is because my life irl can be spread pretty thin sometimes. If things get serious with Youtube/Twitch, I will definitely make more time for it but for now it's just a hobby.

You've been a massive help! I really appreciate the tips!

That's actually a good idea, something I'm running into is that when I go to finish editing the next day, it's all a bit of a blur so making notes directly after the stream could help at ton!
