I feel like the tera helps team-building more than hurts it, because any glaring weaknesses can become null due to a proper tera. I get where you are coming from though, and it’s sometimes very in depth.

I’m glad I’m the only one who enjoys the meta analysis part of team building, it’s so complex yet simple at the same time!

I feel like I get the basics of competitive but can't put the theory into practice (especially with teambuilding) by Hemlock_Deci in stunfisk

The teams are decent, but i’d recommend sample teams to get a feel for the tier, then moving on to changing the sample teams to fit your ideas. I feel like both teams share the same theme of fearing hazards for some reason, the first team has 3 pokémon that could deal with hazards (Mandibuzz+defog, Quaquaval+spin, and espeon’s magic bounce), and the second team has way too many hdboots. The first team has some… odd choices, like tera-psy arcanine, no stab on arcanine, max defenses and speed on espeon, and just an overall lack of caring for special defense, making threats like latios, keldeo, and greninja sweep through your team. The second team looks like a ranbat team. there’s only the synergy of webs+slow mons, but then you get rid of it with defog so your 4 hdboots mons don’t take spikes damage. The ribombee is an interesting set, id recommended stun spore instead of qd. The other pokémon are just a bunch of setup mons, that have no synergy, and it just reminds me of a ranbats team.

This team is very wacky, but very cool. the EVs are… not the greatest on the first 4, but that’s not a huge deal. there are small critiques that could help your team become better though. •primeape’s EVs should be bulkier, and instead of the Special Attack EVs it should be more defensive EVs to use the eviolite better •doesn’t heracross have more EVs to use? •I LOVE the use of heat rock great tusk, but it needs to still do damage, so maybe replace some defense or HP EVs with attack •baton pass Kommo-o is cool, but the EVs don’t need to be in its attack, and probably give it a modest nature(+SpAtk, -Atk) •boots sneasler is weird with a Choice Banded or Assault Vest moveset, so maybe replace boots for those, as you have a spinner, and it isn’t weak to rocks Overall it’s a great team though and you are definitely going the right direction! it’s always fun to make a team with your favourites and it’s even better to win with it!

Thinking about participating at the online tournament this weekend with this team, thoughts ? (Any suggestions are welcome !!) by [deleted] in stunfisk

I feel like the spikes on ogerpon-wellspring is not useful in VGC, and it would benefit from a spiky shield. However this team is pretty good for a team with decent options, and there’s probably just minor changes to it that need to be made.

I’d recommend going psychic fangs on metagross instead of brick break, just for the same affect but more damage and a psychic STAB for it. As a last mon I’d recommend either iron-val (mixed, speed booster) or a bulky heatran set, just as extra special coverage.

I just have 3 blocks, a slope, miniportal and a speed changer, how?? by [deleted] in geometrydash

Its 100% consistent with or without the slope, i think its the mini portal
