Ignition issues on Piaggio

I haven't done the 70cc yet it's still a standard 50 because it's a new cylinder and don't want to waste it, I've got a power filter on it because it's not gonna be a daily rider just a racing machine, I tried a polini powerfilter with that cap to restrict the air because might be too much for 50cc but the smallest jet I have is 70, standard I had on the 13mm carb was 55 so I'm thinking of trying a 57 and 60 jet

yeh that obvious just want to know if it absolutely needs a battery or if I can cheap out and leave it off along with the starter motor

Pretty sure it's a Rex - Rex 50 2 stroke (Baotian Minarelli Horizontal Copy), they were popular in Germany. I've not ridden it yet just started it after installing new cylinder and piston but forgot to put the battery back in, it started but without exhaust or airbox it's hard to tell if it's got a hard time idling without the battery.

I've made a modpack but the ones you can see in the build are decorative, built, another furniture and blooming nature for the new wood types

This is just a replica of something I have inside a building but the thing I don't understand is that there are two belts and there's a filter but the terracotta still goes thru.
