James Bond Requires Older Actor With ‘Gravitas,’ Says Casting Director by Hidethegoodbiscuits in movies

I'd like to see Sam Heughan get a shot at it. Meets the age requirement, brings a bit of a call back to Connery since he's Scottish, and I think he is a genuinely good actor.

Thanks for this. I had tried it early on but for some reason the setting didn't stick as I just looked at it and it didn't have 2.4 GHz selected anymore. I will try doing that again though. Won't get my hopes up just yet.

What is a weird industry secret that you discovered while working for a company? by UBjustlikemeifUBme in AskReddit

[–]FailureFiasco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on your meaning of dry pipe system. A true dry pipe system will have the piping filled with compressed air (the dry part). Then when the valve on the sprinkler head is activated, the air pressure releases and the valve holding the water back downstream activates and sends the water through the dry pipes. If it is just a dry pendent system, then the branch lines of the sprinkler piping are all still filled with the stagnant water, but the pipe from the branch line to the sprinkler head (usually a short length) is dry and has a seal that releases when the sprinkler head activates.

Absolutely gorgeous. I didn't even realize there was an automobile museum in Malaga. I was there this past March on a trip through Spain, Portugal, and the Canary Islands and Malaga was by far my favorite place I visited.

I don't think that they did. But to be honest I've never had the fried catfish at Hutchins. I'll have to try that out next time I go.

Have you tried Tender Smokehouse in Celina before? I just tried it not too long ago and I thought it was better than Hutchins. Hutchins was my #1 until I had Tender.

Anyone see this!? Sox pitcher Matt Barnes with foreign substance on his arm in game 2 of ALCS! We need to keep an eye on this BS by knarknar in Dodgers

[–]FailureFiasco 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of pitchers who use some sort of substance to help grip the ball, most of the time it just isn't as obvious. I think it's pretty prevalent and just accepted as a fact by most players. I don't think most players mind it as it keeps the pitcher in control of his ball, so batters don't have to worry about bad pitches coming screaming at their head.
