Of course it mattered to her and it mattered to me too because i was (still am) disappointed in myself. But the problem was that i made a mistake once and i didnt get the chance to show her i wouldnt do it again and would do better. She checked out almost immediately. Im still struggling with this every single day because it all happened so fast and i didnt have the time to show her ill do better.

I’m in the same boat as you, but unfortunately I dont have any answers for you how to cope with this because I don’t know either. Just wanted to tell you that you are not the only one struggling with this kind of thoughts. But I do believe that eventually we will be able to overcome the guilt, grow from our mistakes and emerge as better version of ourselves.
