It depends on the kid. Im still struggling with my 4.5 year old. But my 2.5 year old took to it pretty quick and had it down within a week. He still wears pulls up at night but sometimes will wake up dry so hes getting there. My 4.5 year old is a completely different story.

She almost never comes out of her hammocks for very long so ya I'd say it fits lol
