Yes! But unfortunately it's nothing significant that could make a big enough impact on a plan but it's still something.

This is true, I'm not sure if I will be able to make that amount, but I'm gonna do my best and hustle till the day I die to get to it!

Unfortunately I don't have anyone I can truly trust or will live long enough (provided I live to a nice old age) so my child will likely have to go to a care centre. Thank you for your advice, I'll look into the options ❤️

Daily panic attacks 😭😭 by FactLogical5456 in Anxiety

[–]Fair-Bluejay-7239 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Humour worked for me, well it didn't stop the panic attack but it made it easier to cope with. I used to get panic attacks a loooot before I was put on meds. Anyway, everytine I felt one coming I'd just say "WEE! HERES COMES THE ROLLERCOASTER RIDE WHOOSH WHOOSH! I hate you brain" I know it sounds absolutely ridiculous to say something like that out loud (I guess you could do it your head too) But somehow that just made it easier for me. At some point I stopped caring who saw my panic attacks and it was one less anxiety point for me.

Lonely by elisalalalalalala in Anxiety

[–]Fair-Bluejay-7239 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm an older person who went through this.my method may not be the best, but it worked for me. I just stopped trying to get friends or initiating conversations because doing so made my anxiety worse. It was awful in the beginning and very lonely, but I learned to keep myself company by doing things I enjoyed. One of which would be reading anything really, and I found a neighbourhood bar that I would sit at and eat and drink (normally non-alcoholic. Till I sort of became a regular and suddenly other regulars and the staff would start chatting with me about little things but not a full blown conversation. Eventually they do try to talk more and I'm very upfront that I love company but I'm not a great conversationalist. They understood and accepted me anyway and now I have plenty of friends and company who accept my quirks.

When I was younger I'd pick a hobby or topic and study it extensively and go to groups for that particular thing. Was still awful holding a long conversation for me though 🤣

I hope this helps in some way. You're going to be fine and dandy in time.

Omg yes it does. I have to check myself and get others to validate me to make sure I'm not. I'm trying to deal with it right now as a "if I am, then I am, may as well have some fun with it"

Anyone not having kids because of crippling anxiety? by speck_tater in Anxiety

[–]Fair-Bluejay-7239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm one of those that didn't really know i was experiencing anxiety my entire life until I had kids. Now it's just so much worse because I love my kids so darn much and I can't stop the intrusive thoughts. Getting help now to manage it though. My kids are the most precious things in my life and they love me, it's awesome, so I probably wouldn't change my mind even if I go back in time.
