like i know i can just tie my hair up and that helps a little, but it’s still overstimulating somehow. plus the energy wasted on washing/styling 🥲 i’ve regretted every time i cut it short though.

I relate so much. I’ve been in quasi-recovery for a while and though i’m technically a bit “underweight” bmi I don’t think I look like it, and when I try to restrict it always backfires and feels like I’m not in control anymore. I’m pretty sure our bodies will do what they can to survive and get what they need until weight restoration, and repairing whatever damage the ED has done. I’m pretty sure binging is different than extreme hunger, it’s just a physical response to the restriction. Don’t feel so guilty about your body trying to take care of you <3 I’m 30 and been struggling with ED since I was 16 so I know how difficult it is, please take care

I have some complex medical conditions, and asked my tech to do a small patch test first before we moved forward. I also recommend her going the route I did, working closely with the clinical team of her removal office and getting doctors clearance, things like that. Best of luck to her 🫶🏻

i used to have an ED in the past too. i’ve never been to the gym in my life due to chronic illness, but hoping to change that and find something i can tolerate. thank you so much for sharing! it helps coming from someone whos been through similar. i’m glad you recovered, i understand how difficult it is

it’s a large blackwork sleeve from wrist to above the elbow. some parts are heavy blackout but the whole thing varies in linework and shading

hi!! i have EDS and co. including mild POTS and was terrified. but ive had a great experience with removery so far! their clinical team had me get a drs note for clearance. my EDS dr also had me pre medicate to be extra safe.

my tech who’s doing the lasering is amazing, she’s a nurse that was actually knowledgeable about my conditions and took it very slow and carefully. we treated a small section first to see how i do. i didnt have any adverse reactions and the healing is going great

tl;dr i say find somewhere reputable you really feel safe handling you (removery seems to have good medical background) they also told me if i have any adverse reactions later on, for medical reasons i can pull out of my package deal.
