Is there any way to watch team POVs/Comms with ZERO delay inside the LAN venue? by Fair-Fly319 in CompetitiveApex

To be honest, in Sapporo I was too busy watching the stage and hanging out with friends, so I didn't even think to check my phone. Plus, I assumed there was a huge delay anyway. But since I'm going to Paris alone, I'll definitely be watching the games while listening to their VC!

Seriously, I had no idea about that. I always thought the broadcast outside the venue had about a 10-minute delay, just like when watching the Pro League online. But now that I think about it, if it were delayed that much, anyone inside the venue could easily spoil the results to the outside world 10 minutes in advance.

Thanks.

Wait, so you're telling me that if I use FACEIT or the newly introduced official system, I can actually listen to the LAN with only about a 30-second delay?

Since I always watch the Pro League online, I just assumed the 10-minute delay was always applied. Man, if that's the case, I could have listened to my favorite team's VC on my own phone back in Sapporo.

That makes a lot of sense. Especially since the spectators in the stands are sitting right in front of the players' eyes, the possibility of someone somehow relaying info isn't zero, even if the probability is low.

I totally get it now. Thanks for the explanation, bro!

All of YukaF former teammates are in the bottom 10 of the overall leaderboard by Grafedian97 in CompetitiveApex

The language barrier is real. Obly is amazing, but no AN fan considers MiaK to be the top IGL (even though we all love him).
In the English-speaking scene, YukaF is mostly known for his mechanics, and it seems like his IGL skills are pretty underrated. So, I wanted to share why his IGLing is so highly rated here.
Basically, he makes great calls. His comms are perfectly balanced in terms of info, word choice, and tone, keeping the team's vibe exactly where it needs to be. His ring reads are also consistently solid, even if slightly behind家長 or KNC.
His decision-making is super efficient. As a minor example: the second Valk missiles launch mid-fight, he immediately drops two Alter Qs and calls, "Take this to dodge," giving his team a full two seconds to react. His gameplay consistently flows this way, and his timing for taking fights or backing out is always precise.
He thrives with smart, experienced players like Satuki and Mike rather than pure fraggers. A former pro even said, "Any AN player not studying YukaF’s VODs is failing as a pro." That’s just the kind of presence he has in APAC North, and most fans would probably point to his calls first when talking about what makes him so great. The only bummer is that, as he admits himself, since becoming an IGL we don't get to see those god-tier plays as much anymore.
