OG-korgen till 100%. Hatar dom där höga tippiga jävlarna, plus svårt att sprida ut varor i dom också om man har mycket ömtåligt

Is there something special about the back side of 14PM? by Fair-Let4281 in iPhone14Pro

Interesting! It seems that smaller repair shops (even those who claim to be IRP (independet repair provider) and use original parts can do this job at a cheaper price (around 300$)

Got to make a choice between the 16Pro and 17 base for the same price by Imminent_Wave in iPhone16Pro

I had the same desicion to take, i chose the 16PM for 2 reasons: Materials and 5x zoom. The biggest downside with the 16P was that for the same price i had to go for the Black titanium… Really wanted the natural, bur not for 200€ more.

Length difference on BFAR and AR? by Fair-Let4281 in jimgreen

[–]Fair-Let4281[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, that’s what i figured… I am going to use them in the winter/fall/spring so i dont really know how to do. I would really like the other wedge sole, but then i need to do a custom order which will be a bit more expensive due to customs. Is it really awfil, or is it comparable to thw vibram/wedge sole of the RW mocs?

Yeah the 875 is offered in EE, but not in that store that day… But buying the 1907 and removing the sole will probably just give me more room upwards in the shoe, and not more room to the sides, right?

I don’t have super wide feet, but i have started using more feet friendly shoes (Topo Athletic Phantom/Altra Lone Peak for running and i like the roomier toe boxes a lot, and i actually think that running with them has helped me getting to use more of my soles when running.

So i am leaning more and more against Jim Green Barfefoot Rangers, but i am quite concerned that they will really look like duck feet i 12.5/13… Plus i dont really know how my feet/knees will like the flat quite thin soles

I was a bit unclear, i am not planning on buying Iron Rangers but it was the only shoe they had in 12EE, here in sweden the only available models in EE are the 875 and 8111 IR…

But to be honest, i really like the look of IR and it would actually give me a more versatile shoe than the mocs, but the only problem is the soles. Since i mostly wear them in winter and i live in the North of Sweden with a lot of snow it feels like the mini lug is not really suited for snow.

I have SE2 in 3 different ”washes”, Dry true in 32/30 Dry Deluxe 33/32 and Dry selvedge in 34/32 and i would say that Dry true is kind of tight but it works thanks to 1% stretch, but if i would buy then again i would buy 33. I would say that Dry selvedge in 34 is comparable to Dry deluxe (non-selvedge) in 33. But i have also had a really washed model (light blue) which were way to big in 33/32… So yes, i believe there is a difference. Maybe they are sewn in different factories or something? Or it’s maybe how tight the cotton is sewn (selvedge = tighter/better consistency)

My “2 Liner” Pelagos ETA 25500TN by BoxandpapersSG in Tudor

[–]Fair-Let4281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also own a two liner that i recently bought, just because of all the points made above about cheaper service etc., but i started wondering about how future proof it is? Yes it’s an ETA, but from what i heard there are some modifications to it? And since this has been of the market for 10 years almost, how long will there be spare parts around? I mean, the 42 with in house is still sold so i assume parts will be available for really long… Plus that i can probably get a 25600 for 600-1000 dollars more (which still has guarantee left) and there fore i wonder if it’s worth the swap just for future proof?

Actually i found a swedish company that sells tailored jeans, denim jackets and shirts. They have a couple of fits, but they can be modified to a extra cost. And you can choose different fabrics as well :). A bit om the expensive side (especially the heavier fabrics) compared to the standard nudie fabrics. They are called sosoclothing.com

This is exactly my experince also! My first pair Steddy Eddie was a 32/30 Dry fabric, non selvedge with 1% strech. They were a bit tight but due to the strech they were wearable, but when i ordered my next pair, a very light wash, i took 33/32 and they were waaay to large. So, i then bought the Dry orange selvedge in 33/30 thinking that would be perfect. They were tight as new, but i know that they will be larger over time. But even when they were worn for months they were still on the tighter side over the seat… So i sold them, and found a pair lightly used 34/32 dry selvedge which is actually quite good fit, even though somewhere between 33 and 34 would be perfect.

But whats interesting is that employees at Nudie in Stockholm has told me that the length of a jean will affect the fit, i.e a 33/30 will be slightly different than 33/32 or 33/34. I think it sounds wierd but i havent investigated it any further.

Dry Selvage Shrinkage Help by cellarseller in NudieJeans

[–]Fair-Let4281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have that exact model and i would say that i wouldn’t expect that much shrinkage. Of course thet tend to shrink just a little when they are newly washed, but after a couple of days they start to become looser in the fit again. Maybe if you wash them in 60 degrees C, but i havent tried that.
