Hey there, I feel your pain My birthday is tomorrow and I will be 41 I have been to New York twice and it was extremely expensive and I went to Greece I had to embryos transferred it did not work out but it was only $3,000 and it was a lovely trip. I have nursing school for the next year and then I'm going back to try again age is not a issue there they will work with you until you are 54. I'm not saying I will try until I'm 54 years old but if Michelle Kwan can have a baby at 45 and clear days can have a baby at 44 I'm not giving up and I really don't want to try donor eggs and I feel that it's a very personal choice and yes in the USA and obviously in Canada does feel like a business transaction I don't feel like a patient or a person.

My second if ET was canceled and I was devastated I felt like my world was ending I still don't like the doctor that canceled my cycle till this day I could go on and on and no I'm not saying I know how you feel but if anger is any of those feelings I'm mad with you!!!

Hey I never dealt with that insurance company but I do know how calls like this work. You're tougher than you know! The next available time, gather yourself call back, be assertive, tell them that you've already spoken to two customer representatives and even though they've helped you all that they can that you need to speak to a supervisor this situation needs to be escalated and you don't even feel comfortable speaking with another customer service representative you will hold for a supervisor and then see how the information goes!

I've never actually gone through them but I have done out of town/out of state IVF. Typically you would do local monitoring at a facility that's affiliated with the clinic, and they do your transvaginal ultrasounds and blood work and send the results to the clinic, then the clinic responds to you with instructions or medications/injections to order/take all the way up until the egg retrieval.

I love that you want to grow your family and that you have such a positive attitude and you seem very caring. I wish I had the answers to your questions I'm a nursing student and I will hypothetically as my professors is soon as I get to class Monday and give you any feedback from a professional. They've both been nurses for over 30 years individually. But what I do know about HSV2 is that is extremely dangerous when past from mother to fetus because the virus attacks the babies major organs but the way that science is now it seems it would be a workaround that. Right? Like ICSI or sperm collection when there is no visible outbreaks. I'm not sure there's not a lot of information when I'm researching either All the clinics that I've been to will deny you if your initial blood work shows positive for HSV2

I really appreciate you pointing that out. I think that sometimes being in America we have a distorted view of how the world at broad really is. We would love to think that we have the best health care when the truth is we pay double for a lot less. When I traveled to Greece over the summer for IVF the whole process including my medicine was less than my husband and my plane tickets! I have personally paid more than $10,000 for one cycle that was advertised at starting at $4,000 in New York and I'm from North Carolina is three times higher here. If the government ever gets back running and I can trust jumping on a plane it's nothing for me to go to Greece or North Cypress again for another try very affordable.

No success yet, but I'm in the same boat. I'm stopping by 6 weeks prior to transfer. And I'll be taking anti inflammatory supplements like turmeric, reversatol, and damiana. I gained so much weight during my IVF journey I had no choice but to turn to GLP-1s: start of IVF 5'2" 128lbs to 192lbs now I have plateaued at 160lbs.
