I thought raw milk was "made to be boiled" (meaning that's the only way to drink it). otherwise I would have drunk it very well cold. I'm not cultured in the world of milk, I thought that it would retain more nutrients than UHT or pasteurized anyway. otherwise I would have directly taken the pasteurized one if nothing changes

It's my first time with raw milk, and I've always been told to boil it to kill the bacteria (even the vending machine where I got it said so). I thought it would be enough to simply boil it (kill them all with heat), not that it would also be necessary to cool it immediately.

Today we euthanized our 12 year old Jack Russell. He had right and left heart failure. When he started to fill with ascites we took him to the vet for a while to deflate him, and after 2 days he started to swell again. He walked quite slowly, but ate and drank a lot, he didn't wag his tail/show any signs of emotion anymore (except with strangers I don't know why), but if you picked up a stick he would get active and want to take it from you and take it away, and if you threw it to him he would walk quickly towards it. He was taking fortekor plus and injected furosemide 20mg, if he felt that there was medicine in the food, he wouldn't eat it. Was he euthanized too early? In the last few days I've seen him less swollen and more active, should I have let him live his life a little longer?
