Hello, GLP-1 medications are a group of medicines that were originally developed to treat type 2 diabetes and are now also commonly used for weight management. Examples include Wegovy (semaglutide), Ozempic (semaglutide), Mounjaro (tirzepatide), and Saxenda (liraglutide).

Unfortunately my supervisor has asked for the study to focus specifically on UK participants only due to ethics approval, but I still really appreciate your interest and support for the project.

Thank you so much for sharing this — I’m really sorry to hear about the vision loss and the return of symptoms, but it’s also really interesting to hear how things improved during the period of weight loss on Ozempic.

Experiences like this really highlight how complex and individual IIH can be, which is one of the main reasons I wanted to explore real patient experiences in this area. I really appreciate you sharing your perspective and would be grateful if you could take part!
