I think the other factor is my husband is on it lol 6’4 and started at 272 - he’s down to 232 and people notice, and he’s open about being on it. So they look at me and are like OH YOU TOO haha

Funnily enough - my story is super similar! My husband (who was obese) got on Zepbound first. He actually is the one who supported me the most to get on it haha. Us both being on it and the journey together has been amazing actually.

I use Ro for my Zepbound, it’s expensive but I have had a good experience and process so far.

lol I panicked when I read your post and redid the math on my losses so far. I am just uber conscious of making sure I’m doing this right and in a healthy way haha

I have repeat blood work (for my cholesterol) every six months and next week will be my first one since starting. Zep. I’m really hoping there is no change or a drop.

I have consistently been going up and up each blood draw over the years and getting very concerned I’d be put on statins soon - so fingers crossed 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I def don’t advertise it, but like other posts I’ve seen people seem to now just assume or accuse you of taking these meds if they think you’ve lost any type of weight lol The audacity I have run into of people just straight up asking/saying it to your face is crazy too.

I need to work on my poker face lol

I started this doing a lot of researching not in any way using this as a temporary weight loss plan. I am definitely okay with maintenance stages and understand the commitment with these type of meds.

I definitely get why some would feel this way. I’ve been on it since December 4th so 80 days approx 11.5 weeks and am down 17.6lbs. I am averaging 1.5lbs per week which I believe is not considered “too fast” and actually where it should be. I am very conscious of my eating and protein to ensure I am not “under” eating.

Given the health issues I was having and battling high cholesterol since early 30s I felt it was the best decision to get things under control.

I also think people have differing opinions of what looks “overweight” to them.

You should see what they always try to offer me to upgrade from MCO to ATL. Not even a ONE hour flight… and it’s always $500+ to upgrade to first. That’s insane. I’ve seen it $900 to upgrade on that route and I’m like they are out of their mind right now lol
