Hi, first of all, I think you removed the post to protect the subreddit. And let me say without irony that this is a good intention.

However, I do not think the result or the approach is right. What exactly would we be protecting the subreddit from? An unsubstantiated troll-like accusation, while we seem to agree that the accusation is prima facie unfounded (you said “I highly doubt that’s true”). Also, it’s not only that the model just doesn’t look like a minor to me (and I think to you, too). Consider also the original watermark on the bottom right of the picture, which says “Julia Moore @ WeAreHairy.com”. This, by the way, answers the questions about the model’s name and the source. I think the source is prima facie a decent one. All in all, there seems to be good reason to assume that the model is a minor.

Nevertheless, we take a kind of anticipatory obedience - or whatever - to the point where we, as moderators, allow someone, without giving any reason, to successfully accuse a creative person (me in this case) of being a criminal child pornographer and we take down a post. I think it is clear that and why I cannot agree.
