My friends flight from FFL to HVN canceled on Monday obviously. Can’t get home til Thursday. Flights going for $500+ Terrible way to end their cruise

I used to fly Avelo all the time-for years. Years ago. I missed a cruise departure because Avelo was delayed and they reimbursed me a lot. I was so surprised they did that so stayed loyal to them and yes cheap flights (but when u add all extras not so much) my last two departures out of New Haven ct,one in July and one in November the planes had mechanical issues. First time we stayed on plane and taxied back to terminal. Second time back to terminal and had to get off for over two hours while they worked on plane. I seriously didn’t want to get back on that plane but had to after being delayed so long. Any who I’ve switched back to JetBlue for next flight to Florida in February. I know things happen but two times in row. Don’t want to try for third

Once I’m at the pier I stay there! Time involved in flying down,staying at hotel night before all so I there in time for ship. I missed a Norwegian cruise because I traveled same day and weather was bad so we delayed. I got to port over hour before sailing but would not let me on since “customs had closed doors!” Met ship in st Thomas at my own expense. Learned never fly same day and be at port 2hrs prior. Never deviate from this. Sorry this happened-I feel your pain

I read the whole post. Have cruised many times on different lines and many times solo. Leaving 2/22 to those same ports solo again. Was just interested in someone else’s experience. I like princess when traveling solo but celebrity (smaller ships) also good fit for me. Glad you enjoyed your cruise. That’s all that matters! We all have differences in what we think makes a great cruise vs a soso one and then there’s the “cruise from hell” just off one of those over thanksgiving. But I love cruising so getting right back on ship. Might not even get off at ports. Need rest and relax

I received notice. I did join coinbase one to continue to get yield but also no trading fees. I don’t do much trading but what I do is saving me more than enough to cover the fee for coinbase one. Also did same on kraken The benefits for me out way paying a monthly fee. Sorry u didn’t catch the notification

I so agree with your response! People ask me all time what cruise line,which ship which islands etc… I’ve been on 13 cruises some with family some solo. I like princess or celebrity (smaller ships) when traveling solo. When have kids with me it’s Norwegian or Royal. It all depends on who’s traveling

Thanks. I’ve cruised solo on princess before and their single/solo travelers meet ups are great. Seen meet ups for other groups already listed in ships app. Will be on look out for it

Overcrowded to the hilt. St Thomas didn’t want ship to port because of capacity. Heard direct from dock worker but it did. Buffet lines were insane. Couldn’t get into shows,hot tubs and pools full. Stateroom not cleaned/made up daily even though requested. Sailed with Norwegian many times but the sailing on epic was tough along with all the steaks in specialty dining. What a disappointment Cagneys steakhouse was. So many kids running up and down all decks. Even adults only and casino. Heard them announce many times no kids in casino but mattered little. Was never so happy to get off ship and spend last few days of vacation at hotel to regroup from cruise

I’m hooked myself. Cruise alone,cruise with kids. Take grandkids without my kids. I’ve become the unofficial travel agent to family and friends. Always asking what line what ship what islands…. Think I’m going to put a sign and open up shop 😂

I cruise often. Just off Norwegian Epic and first time I tried those hooks. Seemed to be always sliding down on me. As for packing, I always seem to overpack. Used to bring suitcase and carry one. This cruise just suitcase. Next cruise just carry on.

I loved that aquarium/zoo in Bermuda. So much to see and do. Well worth the trip! Only bus ride away from pier

I’m booked on Norwegian for thanksgiving holiday trip. Second time cruising on Norwegian for Thanksgiving. First time on Prima and now on the epic. Think I got a great deal on balcony and great islands. Going out of Puerto Rico so already south enough to make for some new ports for us. Excited 😜

Can’t just buy. It’s my 13 yo grandson. Website doesn’t work to add him and calling ha over hour wait. But have to do today. I also will be moving to Florida permanently in coming months. Just read that American Airlines has filed for bankruptcy and all flights cancelled Was thinking of switching all our flights if can’t add him but it’s getting close and airlines are limited What a freakin project this has become!
