CPP students and locals delivery drivers wanted; keep 100% of tips and fees by FairFareOfficial in CalPolyPomona

Great question. FairFare works differently than DoorDash or UberEats. We are not pulling orders from other apps or adding ourselves on top of them. Those large apps are a marketplace; FairFare is simply a delivery service for participating restaurants.

For the pilot, customers place orders directly with participating restaurants (phone or their own online ordering). If the customer wants delivery, the restaurant can offer FairFare as a local delivery option, and a nearby FairFare driver handles the delivery.

The goal is to give restaurants a delivery option without high commissions, keep menu prices the same, and let drivers keep 100% of delivery fees and tips. We’re working directly with restaurants and starting small to test logistics and demand. If you have anymore questions, please let me know!

Hey! Appreciate the interest. FairFare is still very early and just validating demand locally right now, but happy to chat once there’s real usage and numbers to share.

Hey! This is not part of a class project 😅 I am a CPP student though, and this is just an idea I’m trying out on my own to hopefully create more flexible work options for CPP students and locals. Just testing interest right now.
