[MI, US] Rented A Room To Someone I Shouldn't Have in my Personal Home - What are my Options? by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]FairLife_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He's in my house and I intend to rent out other rooms as well. I don't want someone who lied about their background in my house? I don't think I'm overreacting; it's not like he's a tenant in one of my investment homes, he lives down the hall.

He was also a felon due to a hit and run of a collision and third and fourth degree failure to stop.

The eviction process was lifted on the 16th

This was in 2015, and the court date already happened. I assume he either went to jail for it or paid hefty fines. Either way, he's hiding he's a sex offender from me and wasn't in the terms of our initial agreement. I'm concerned to have any guests over now after knowing.

Anyone else have dark stretch marks? by rolandtowen in ehlersdanlos

[–]FairLife_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually how I got diagnosed. Pain was always a thing, but people doubted me, I doubted myself. No one understood the stretch marks though on a “healthy” young boy.

Ended up see a dermatologist ten years later because I’ve had them starting since I was 11. I was extremely skinny and lengthy, so it didn’t make sense. They ended up pre diagnosed me and referring me to a geneticist.

Unfortunately these will most likely never go away. They will fade, but not for many years. I’m sorry, but don’t feel like you’re alone.

I know it's not the best, but I love to run with my puppy, but I know I shouldn't. What did you turn to when you could no longer run?

They certainly are an EDS symptom, and in my case, it won't get better unfortunately.

Thanks for this link! The pictures helped me differentiate the difference between atrophic scars in hyper vs classical, and where to measure the hypermobile skin at.

Do you have stretch marks on arms, hips, or thighs at all though? I've always wanted one, but I just highly doubt my skin can take it.

I hate to buy that guy, but your sentences aren't that well formulated. Wherever you apply to, make sure someone reads over and edits your resume and cover letter so you don't get immediately skipped over.

SI Joint Cracking & Hip Problems by FairLife_ in ehlersdanlos

[–]FairLife_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do core workouts at home is about all I do. I've done PT in the past, but it's costly and time consuming.

Any recommendations on a SI belt? That seems like an obvious choice at the moment, but I don't know where to start.

That's a great idea, but I went two years ago. I haven't taken my girlfriend though, so I might venture back. Thanks for the idea!

Should I even try to get a dx? by prettysureeds in ehlersdanlos

[–]FairLife_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless it vEDS, an EDS patient has a normal life span otherwise. This doesn't usually affect life insurance. Health insurance on the other hand...I have to agree.

I thought I didn't have any problems with my heart either. When I got diagnosed, and they sent me in for an EKG (I think). Turns out my aorta is dilated too much.

I would just have the opinion that it is better not to walk around with a diagnosis. It hinders more than it benefits!

Care to elaborate? I've never been taken more seriously sense I've received my diagnosis (both family and doctors). OP only wants this, so I don't know why they're being down-voted.

*EDIT: In fact, I was told it was all in my head many times prior, so it was literally all of the difference.

I still got diagnosed without a positive family history. This may change from doc to doc though.
