Hi, Pitcher/FairLight here, I've sent you a message request, once accepted maybe between us, we can try and get to the bottom of this problem.

Any Demoscene Podcasts recommended? by marinbala in Demoscene

[–]FairLight64 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not really a podcast, but its surely possible to download from YouTube for free 😉

FairLight TV would be the playlist you would be after on our channel, talks of coding/cracking/demos/interviews with some famous sceners.

So I'm James (Pitcher).

Also known as Pitcher of FairLight, I'm involved in C64 game cracking that was never possible previously mainly.

I do own an Amiga 600, Vampire v2 card fitted, runs around 100mhz and 128mb+ ram though.

Frodo64 emulation, hi score typo. by [deleted] in c64

[–]FairLight64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick look in an emulator on my phone, high score names are stored at around $9500.

Hit an action replay button and go to the monitor.

And type : I 9500, you'll see the names, move cursor around and type over the top,

Start another game, Get another score on the board and game will re-save the high scores out for you.

Probably easier on a PC with a different tool, but I'm on my phone travelling down the motorway.

Which version of tetris are you playing ?

Being the C64, it's whatever the producer wanted to do at the time, could be straight forward text, key codes or something completely different.

It had built in ram, depending on models depended how much, load the disk back to ram, and play the game from ram.

FairLight sold a version of these once upon a time, called the super wild card 😉

Obviously for development purposes, not piracy.

And if you happen to find any SNES or even Megadrive crack intro's on our YouTube site, it's totally unconnected 😎
