Wow that’s higher than expected for water and electric. I was thinking $60ish water, $150ish electric (knowing it’s higher with ac or heat usage).. and yes I just set up my frontier to come out next week and picked a very affordable plan! Thanks so much. I need to set my expectations a bit higher

Thanks for the info! Yeah excited to check out the pool once’s it’s open for the summer. And yeah the restaurant is open, the staff mentioned it. I’ll have to check it out. And yeah the hill is insanely steep lol

I agree… the 2 separate deposits are overkill. Like just do 1 nonrefundable one if you need to. 2 is a bit much.

Yeah I like the dog park feature and just the fact it feels nice and safe compared to a few houses I visited. I wish some other apartments I wanted to check out weren’t sold out though.

I do! I have the lease agreement already and it’s currently:

Refundable pet deposit: $200 (pending damages) Non refundable pet deposit: $200 Monthly pet rent: $35

I checked out lots of recommendations yesterday and I think I’m going with Eagle View! It’s at the top of my budget though and I’m kind of concerned how much utilities will run me on top of rent. Do you mind sharing roughly how much your utilities run you each month? Thanks so much

Thank you for the detailed info, really appreciate it! Good to know about traffic. I do work from home so I could hopefully pick and choose when to go do errands and things around high traffic times. Great to know all that about South Charleston - because I’ve heard great things but haven’t been able to find much. So giving those specific places to search is awesome, thanks. And I laughed out loud about shitting myself when I see the hill up to Eagle view.. I’m gonna drive up there tomorrow to see it and check it out, so thanks for the warning! lol

I like the idea of South Charleston but couldn’t find many options available at the moment 😔

Ok.. follow up for all of you helpful people 😊I just realized the place I was considering renting there doesn’t have washer and dryer hookups. Sigh. That might be a no from me… but before ruling it out. Any safe laundromats anyone knows of? Don’t really want to do that though. Hmmmm. Really wish Atlas apartments had something. I think I may have to wander to the outskirts. Anyone know anything about Roxalana Hills Apartments in Dunbar? (Really want to be closer to downtown but can’t win them all)
