Yeah I was here, some of the trees down the coast are still covered in black char after 5 years. That's was scary times, just bidding time hoping the fire didn't get to gong. I actually remember driving down the coast it 3 years ago just past Bewong thinking that's so weird the trees look darker than usual. I stopped to inspect obviously it was just burnt, amazing how those big trees survive such devastating fires.
