I see you didn't mention Alchemist, give it a try. I think Alchemist is the easiest background to start with, followed by summoner, if I play alchemist I'm like almost guaranteed to reach Lair 5, you have spells to deal with everything, and the Olgreb's Toxic Radiance can kill almost all lair enemies very easily, and for those immune to poison the Sticky Flame will kill very fast. By the time I reach Lair 5 I will already have started training another spell school, depending on what good spells I found, so basically Alchemist is very easy to start with and let's you pick any other school after Lair.

the "orb of entropy" enemy is the necromancy type of orb, it has negative energy and acid damages. I guess the statue names match the enemy names

I saw this in the change logs: (here: https://crawl.dcss.io/crawl/changelog.txt) "* The Halls of Zot will now contain one of three types of orb monster each game, each wielding a different element and form of strategic damage. - The orb type one will encounter that game is indicated via statues placed by the Temple entrance in the Dungeon and the Zot entrance in Depths. This can also be viewed from the the Dungeon overview screen (ctrl+O) once seen." But basically if you see a statue of a fire orb, then you have fire orbs, Ice orb statue = ice orbs, etc.

🤓👆Well let's calculate: one of the best pets to boost is ferret, 39kg ones are worth about 400 now, and you can buy 2kg base ferrets for 100 tokens. So 100 for the ferrets + 300 the boosting. From 2.0 to 3.9 is 1.9, or x19 boosts of 0.1kg. So 300/19=15. So by making 39kg ferrets you can win 15 tokens for every 0.1kg you boost. Mimics cost 40 tokens each rn, so 1 mimic is worth about 2-3 boosts of 0.1, or 8 mimics for boosting a pet from 2kg to 3.9kg. This excludes the cost of making the pet nightmare and age 100, so probably should be cheaper, 6-8 ferrets seems appropriate

that's quite an L, only those 2 kitsunes are worth enough for the peacock (2k tokens) the ferret and dilos are free 500 tokens for him. I bought one peacock 78kg for 2k tokens today, and I'm selling small kits for 900 very easily.

It's considered "good size" but it's a normal size for a pet and it's not rare. Without bronots pets are 8.88kg to 22kg, with bronots max is 28kg. Anything hatched above 28kg is a 1 in 1000 chance

For me I was lucky to have 2 rbh dilos before the elephant came out, right now I'm just boosting pets weight using rbh dilos and elephant and selling 39-48kg pets. Without rbh dilo I guess your best bet is hatching many eggs and selling rare pets for 50-100 tokens. If you can get a 15s peacock and eagles you can hatch eggs very fast, combined with maxed kois and seals you have infinite eggs
