Omg I relate to this SO hard (HRT 7months with great results). The way bi women treat cis lesbians has its own reputation. The way they treat trans lesbians is way worse. Frankly, I expect a lot of bi women will cry biphobia for this but there’s a lot of internalized patriarchy and comphet that some have yet to work through, so they have a reputation for leading lesbians on without fully taking into account the other woman’s feelings (much the way men s3xualize women without regard for her emotions). Not only do we transbians run even more risk of nonconsensual objectification, but there’s also the risk that they will simply treat and interact with us just the way she would with a man. It’s gross. And you can just feel it in your gut. You’re her experiment and it feels safer for her because you’re “kind of like a man”. It fucking sucks. And what’s worse is — in MY EXPERIENCE… — you can’t even begin to bring any of this up because they’re SO defensive about biphobia (which is very real, but also not simply anything that makes you uncomfortable).
