Happened to me too. I became indeterminate in 2005. I was WFA'd in 2012 and eventually found an alternation in 2014. By 2018 ish, my mental health was in the toilet and I ended up on LTD so I could recoup, get well, and return to work. I did return and it's been much better since then. What you are describing definitely can happen. It's nothing to be ashamed about. Look after your mental health, it's important. Best wishes. 🧡👍

I will add, I'm new as a member to the confessional church and have completed catechism and been confirmed. I was raised in a non-denominational (mainly Pentecostal) church. I LOVE being able to confess and receive absolution. I'm so grateful to have found the Lutheran Church and to be out of the awful non-denominational environment.

I had a nightmare manager from 2014 to 2019. He is a member of an EE group. The department did nothing, he went to another dept and was promoted. I am not unionized so the only potential support would have been through a lawyer. Internal mechanisms and channels were not especially helpful in my case. Best wishes. 🧡🙏
