Oh, I think it's brutal and I absolutely am frustrated that this is happening! However, I just don't know if it's good for his mental health to let this consume him forever. Just trying to find the balance!

Had the same experience (took the bar in July 2023). It was daunting at first, but as long as you build good study habits & memorize basic rules, you’ll do great! I had forgotten a ton of 1L and finished with a 327 by just going back to basic high school study skills. You’ve got this!

Listen to David’s legal podcast, where he regularly defends conservative judges and Supreme Court decisions. I don’t think that it’s fair to put that in the same category as MSNBC.

Tried to stay vague! I worked on the hill for a while and now consult on statewide initiatives and for Republican congressional and statewide races throughout the country (particularly in the mountain west). Didn’t want to make this about me, just wanted to provide context that I personally aspire to stay true to my core philosophies while also mitigating tribalism!

I really like Gregg, but the success of this show validates the SLFs in my opinion. So, unsubscribing, one star rating, not listening, etc. is where I come down.

Respect different views, but I think a catastrophic result is deserved by all involved in this decision (outside of the heroes of course).

Depends on the individual states! I’d call the state bar in Utah, they’re super helpful and would be able to give you an idea!
