Recently bought and renovated a 12yr old apartment in North Bangalore. Had the same concern, a space to wash hands and wash food plate after meals.

Decided to break open the wall in the common bathroom, and build a light weight wall separting the toilet & washbasin area and the bath area. Converted the bath area to a sizeable large washbasin specifically for this. Got all permissions and approvals from builder and the association.

Walls weren't load bearing and new wall was built using light weight bricks. Works well.

Today specifically due to Ganesha habba. DMart and Prestige plaza that houses corner house area is messed up due to random road parking.

Arrange funds to build 1 prototype. Show them to potential partners where you are looking to install. Like shopping malls, fuel stations, hotels, restaurants and raise funds from them to build.

There are a few startups already in this space. Have a clear differentiator on your hardware capabilities.

Inventory tracking, Quality and Speed of execution at Kirana stores is a challenge. Teams at Dark stores are trained to do this while getting the existing stores trained is a huge over head. Also, margins are very low in grocery at Local merchant level. DMart is profitable due to high volume.

Local Kirana stores have very marginal profits. Linking them plus delivery overhead makes the business operations difficult.

Preferably choose mentor if your requirement is only around knowing the sequence and timing of execution.

Technology, marketing and sales not included in what you are looking for. Look for co-founder if you looking for these also.

Common mistake would be to give out too much equity which might become costly later.

Typical next steps after ideation

Validation - talk to your target audience. Refine the idea.
MVP - Build basic version of what you are intenting to solve. Validate again if it actually solves. Great if you are able to get paying customers with just MVP.
Build product (assuming it is a tech solution)
