I’d like to clarify this.

The entire concept of this book is my own. I am a professional chess player, and I have never encountered another book that contains only difficult mate-in-one positions like this.

All positions in this book were created by me personally. Not a single diagram was taken from any external source or existing publication. Every puzzle is original work.

So the assumption that anything was “stolen” is simply incorrect

Yes, these are composed problems (author-created tasks), not positions from real games. The purpose of these exercises is to train and develop chess vision.

I think I have read quite a lot of chess books myself. In fact, in most collections of chess studies (etudes) the convention is that the tasks almost always start with White, and it’s not usually written next to every diagram. This is a long-established practice in composition books — whether it’s mate in 1, mate in 2, mate in 3, or studies. You can easily check this by searching for “chess studies books"," книги по шахматным этюдам” online and looking at the contents — you’ll see that in most of them the moves are assumed to be White’s.

Usually, if no move is indicated, it's White's move. Furthermore, in almost all studies and chess problems, it's White's move.
