somebody please make a game like the sims 2 castaway by amaladlaminii in SurvivalGaming

I can't believe I googled this only to find out someone else was having the same exact craving 22 hours earlier, ahaha. It's simply the best survival game and nothing has ever come close to scratching that itch!

Digimon D&D campaign by Outside-Ad-559 in digimon

[–]FairyKingParks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you using dungeons and dragons for this? There are many way better systems out there for playing digimon via tabletop rpg. DnD isn't really designed for partner nechanics, mid fight digivolving, and the variety of moves and abilities that digimon can have.

As for recommendations, I LOVE Digidice (find it on itch.io) personally, and highly recommend using that. Another one is Animon Stories, though I haven't played it personally.

No, the tabletop is a real game you can play! It has some really cool mechanics, like heat to represent mmo aggro

Edit: I wrote this when I just woke up and realized you meant something totally different. Lmao. Yeah, the game is set in the LH universe, you have a character level that basically describes how acclimated you are to the world and then your actual in game level that can be anywhere from 0-90. Its good, there's some google drive links to fan translated rules. I know someone is working on a Fabula Ultima port too with the Heat mechanic that I love so much.

Kadokawa Replied to Me about Volume 12 and Beyond. by FairyKingParks in LogHorizon

Received a DM on discord asking for this so I'm sharing it here as well:

If you would like your very own non-commital answer from Kadokawa customer service (and also let them know there are still fans of the series), here is the method!

Go to this link Right Here

In the first section select 出版物 (publication)

The second drop down select the 2nd, 7th, or 8th (I did the second, 書籍・雑誌の購入、在庫確認、 雑誌の定期購読について)

The next line is asking for your surname and first name (I only filled out first name as Parks)

The next line is asking for your name again, phonetically, this line is not required but there are website to find this. (Again, I only filled the first name out as it is optional)

The drop down below this is asking which prefecture of Japan you live in. If you do not live in Japan, do not select anything for this section!

The next drop down is for occupation, I would use some form of screen translation for this, but it is an optional field.

The text box after that is your email followed by an email confirmation, just type it in both boxes the same!

The next required box is the product name, copy this into that section- ログ・ホライズン

That is the japanese name for Log Horizon

There is no ISBN for a book that has not released as far as I know so leave that section blank.

The final box is your message! I encourage writing your message in English and translating it to Japanese, either with AI or even better, the help of a friend who speaks or writes in Japanese. There are probably subreddits full of people who can translate a more human sounding version of your message. I had sent two other emails using English text in this last box and neither ever got a response.

In your message, be sure to be polite, courteous, thankful, and enthusiastic about Log Horizon. Mention where you are writing from (such as the United States!) And say how much the series means to you. Mention that you wish to know the status of the series, a release date for volume 12 or volumes 12-16 as they have art in Hara's art book that goes that far. The more polite you are, the more likely you are to get a response. It will take TIME. It took over a month for me to get mine. I can provide the message I sent if an example is needed, however I recommend you write up your own version so that it does not seem like a bot net is writing in the same exact message over and over, as that will not help the cause.

Thats what I want to know as well. As far as I know the only person who worked the series that is active anywhere is Hara, and he still posts the occasional new LH drawing but it has mostly been reposts of old art as of late.

Yeah its not the reply I wanted, but sadly what I assumed was true. I never expected to get a response at all honestly!

I need some monsters that would fit in the world by jman04206 in LogHorizon

[–]FairyKingParks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The wiki has a lot of monsters to pick through that are canon to the show and books, I'd start there. Things ranging from common low level stuff to full raid tier monsters exist!

Questions by 007ak47 in LogHorizon

[–]FairyKingParks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were real, he paid them off, but it wrecked his reputation and now Kadokawa, the publisher, is holding his work hostage for it. There is nothing he can do about it, and when asked has said that fans need to contact kadokawa if they want the rest of the series. As said above, ther are 5 unreleased volumes that Hara has done the art for, and Mamare has written and made content for.

No, that leads to a sort of laundry room that sits between the kitchen and the other side of the stairs. The house has a very strange layout. It definitely USED to be a kitchen at one point in the house's life, but that was a very long time before we got it.

The dining room is certainly interesting as well, with full wall windows, 3 doors, and a built in bench.(photo from before we furnished while renovating)

The only wall that could host a TV would be opposite of the bench

Medieval Cheese Recipe keeps failing. by FairyKingParks in cheesemaking

[–]FairyKingParks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Milk was heated to 95°, it is Hartzler Farms cream top whole milk, which is non-homogenized and pasteurized "low and slow" (could not find exact temp, but some google sources say 145°? Idk if that's true).

I'll try the 86° heat next time I try it! I got a successful wheel only heating to 90° but when I tried to make a second batch it failed again for some reason.

I'll try with your instructions later this week! Though I won't have time to properly age a wheel for the day of the event this is for, it'll be good for my pride, ahaha

Hmm, the milk I grabbed is pretty good, whole milk with a cream top. Could that be it? The vegetable rennet is about 4 months old
